HR Group, founded in Edmonton Alberta in 1993, is a partnership of highly experienced management consultants who specialize in organizational effectiveness and human resource management, and promote participative, lean, and cost-effective management practices. All partners are Certified Human Resource Practitioners with extensive senior level experience in both the private and public sectors.

DIMITRI POJIDAEFF, CHRP

Dimitri PojidaeffA graduate of Phillips Academy – Andover, Columbia University, and the Banff School of Management, Dimitri has extensive, diversified, and hands-on experience and training in all areas of Human Resources Management, Organization and Staff Development, and Employee Relations. He has also taught University courses in such subjects as Human Relations in Business, Management of Organizational Behaviour, and Human Resources Management.

Dimitri has been a Director of Human Resources with the responsibility of restructuring and managing complete Human Resource functions with departments of up to 33 staff and direct budgetary responsibilities of over $3 million for several large organizations with over 2000 staff and multiple bargaining units.

As a result of his extensive hands-on practical experience, together with his knowledge of organizational effectiveness and human resources management practices, Dimitri offers his clients first-hand experience and expertise in what works, what doesn’t and why, and what organizational change is required to effect and sustain participative and productive workplaces.

He is committed to the concept that true continuing productivity is only sustained when employees at all levels have both responsibility and accountability for the work that they do and its outcome.

 

SHARON PATRIQUIN, CHRP

Sharon PatriquinSharon has both public and private sector experience and has been employed by a wide range of firms, including a large telecommunications corporation, a software development company, and a career management organization.  She has acted as the Corporate Secretary for a publicly listed company and operates her own business.  In addition to Human Resources, she has expertise in business development and marketing and considerable accomplishments in leadership roles with professional associations.  A natural facilitator, she is known as a source for ideas that work and for her ability to bring to the surface and solve problems.

Educated at the University of Alberta, she has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Industrial Psychology supplemented by a Human Resource Management Certificate.  She is certified as a Human Resources Professional by the Human Resources Institute of Alberta and served on the Board as Director of various portfolios.  Sharon is a past member of the Human Resources Program Advisory Committee for Grant MacEwan Community College.  She also served as a co-Chair of a provincial initiative to unite all HR associations in Alberta.

Other volunteer work includes offering her HR and organizational expertise to committees of the Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Edmonton and the CKUA Radio Network Foundation. She has recently been appointed as Chair of the Board of the Greater Edmonton Foundation: Housing for Seniors.
